6:33 pm – Moon squares Jupiter in Leo
7:31 pm – Moon conjuncts Mars in Scorpio
9:10 pm – Moon squares Mercury in Leo
11:58 pm – Moon trines Neptune Retrograde in Pisces
Yesterday, i told you about the conjunction of Jupiter and Mercury and what happens when the two square Mars. I explained how communications regarding the fervor of beliefs and philosophies may result in scenarios of conflict and aggression. The harder task in such a scenario is to avoid re-action and instead respond from position of Love, even if you, your power, or your beliefs are ‘directly attacked’. But that is also the path of greatest Truth from the spiritual perspective. Information here for those who missed yesterday’s post: http://bairaveebalasubramaniam.com/2014/08/02/mercury-conjuncts-jupiter-squares-mars-by-priestess-bairavee-balasubramaniam-phd/
As the Moon lights up these aspects once more, we feel a subconscious, emotional and intuitive pull towards these dynamics of judgment and conflict. It may make you feel more ‘powerful’ if you play the role of Mars in Scorpio who believes that ‘Might is Right’. Know that in most if not all cases, this is generally the position taken by the insecure ego unwilling to confront the challenge posed by the Other.
You may also play these dynamics out with the person who represents or plays the role of The Moon (Mother, Nurturer, Goddess), often someone from the same familial or cultural context. Something tribal and powerful is about to be challenged in a way that feels nothing short of invasive and penetrative. Whilst you need to hold your ground, my suggestion is for you to do it in a way that engages your Heart, rather than your Ego.
Towards the end of the day, the Moon makes an exact trine to Neptune Retrograde. I suspect that the spiritual message you gain from whatever encounter you might find yourself in (it can be a wholly internal thing, or manifested through different people) will be made clear you with this aspect.
Essentially, the Moon in Scorpio is intense, penetrative and seeks to get to ‘the bottom of things’. It is fixated upon power and control – when this is turned inward this can be a wonderful thing – when it is turned outward, you get a tyrant in the making.
Whatever happens today, know that it is a part of the journey you have chosen to experience at this time. This is the time to perfect the art of ‘grace under pressure’.
