The Neptune Retrograde asks us to look at our most cherished beliefs, ideals and projections – and to rip them to shreds, wherever they may cast illusion or veil over a deeper Truth. Many of us will also be re-visiting our idea of Formless Spirit and ways and spaces in which we explore this energy.
For some, this energy will be welcomed as it will help us strip away the shackles which (we continue to allow to) hold us down in our spiritual awakening. For others, it is exactly this challenge that will make the Retrograde seem so daunting.
As we head deeper into the pools of Neptunian illusion, deception, mystery, and potential transcendence – we will also encounter our past selves and the karmic dynamics which link us with those selves. We may also find soul contracts or relationships which have that ineffable quality of Mystery to them also put under greater scrutiny.
Illusions will come tumbling down, whether we want them to or not. The best position one can take here (as I interpret the energy) is to sit in open-hearted Surrender, with your Faith firmly placed in the Dance of the Cosmos and the Unfolding of Mystery.
Look to the location of Neptune, Pisces or the 12th house in your natal chart (or book a session with an astrologer) to find out how this transit will affect you specifically. That is, if you really need to know.
Sit back, take a deep breath.
And let the energy wash over you. (No matter what you do, it´s still going to)
Let it lead you to depths you had not known you had.
Or maybe you did, and forgot.
Either way – it´s going to be quite the inner adventure, especially with the Saturn-Neptune square so strongly present in the sky.
Be open, be flexible to what comes. And allow others the same freedom.
Many of you will need to practice grounding, earthing, walking bare feet in the earth – and cord cutting.
Salt soaks or baths would be highly recommended as a means of supporting the energetic and ideational detoxification process that will ensue.
