Feminine Wounding, Feminine Healing: Sun conjuncts Asteroid Lilith (2 Virgo – 25 August 2018)

512px-Lady-Lilith

Today we see the Sun conjunct asteroid Lilith at 2 Virgo, feeding into the Grand Earth Trine with Saturn at 2 Capricorn and Uranus at 2 Taurus.

Lilith’s influence is a mixed bag, more so than usual. (Note : there are multiple Lilith-s in astrology)

We carry so much of collective shame surrounding the sexuality and magic of the feminine – that parts of it dissociate and so become the demon-witch that patriarchy conditions us to fear. Other aspects rise more gracefully to the surface, ready to receive healing.

Energy-workers, especially those facing the Shadow head on are likely to see all aspects emerge. Sometimes it’s playful, sometimes it’s sensual and sometimes it’s neurotic-chaos-bitch-from-hell. Sometimes all of the above.

People like to generalize what the best approach to handling such mixed energies are. In truth, it’s about context, your own skill-set, level of groundedness and experience. Sometimes it can get so heavy and grasping that having a facilitator step in is the best course of action.

And sometimes it takes a softer approach. One that invites healing of all aspects – in a safe, and non-self-sacrificial way.

Whatever comes up your way – and I hope it’s more nurturing rather than challenging – breathe. Don’t attach, don’t force a resolution – just breathe.

And allow for other solutions to arise.

This is not the time to charge head-on as we’re prepping for a powerful Pisces Full Moon and the upcoming end of Mars Retrograde in Capricorn.

This is a time better spent on self-care and working out long term plans for manifesting abundance in a sustainable way for all.

Having fun with bubble baths, pampering yourself with rose essential oil can be cool too. Though it is contraindicated in pregnancy. Maybe just a bubble bath then.

And have a nice, healthy bowl of soup. Hug your belly.

That helps.

Blessings and Love
